A new to-do for my to-do list.

Compile Shelly's photographs and update the blog dedicated to her. ...ermm.. though we did have a lot.  :)

For those who doesn't know yet, Shelly is (was?) a cat.  She had been with us for like about 19-20 years, and left us on 8.7.2006.

In her final years, she suffered bone cancer, she endured the pain and didn't complain.  During the final half year, she probably had cat dementia as well.  But she was happy.

Let's leave the other story-telling for the Shelly website. :D

This is one of the pictures we took in 2006, few months before she left.  She still look good!  And we had one framed up nicely, hanging on our wall.  Just like those other people hang their Ah Gong and Ah Mah photo on their wall.  We hang our Shelly. Meow...

Silver in the Cat Show on 4 Jul 09

We brought Silver to the Purrecious Cat Show on 4 July 09 to participate in the Fun Fun Cat Show. :)

It was very Fun indeed... Lots of people there and lots of cute cats too!!!

We took so many photographs, we don't know which one to display here. Let's take a look at a few of Silver's shots.

We dressed her up like a princess to get ready for the Bling Bling Cat Show...

Silver got the 3rd Best Shorthair leh... Hehe.. Very happy.

And.... tada... this is the loot for the day!! A lot of Calorie Control cat food, which I gave to Munchie, coz he really need to control his calorie intake... just like me! Wakaka..

Silver is FOUND!!

Was just saying that she's not found in the previous post. And half and hour later... IT'S FOUND!!!

Thanks everyone for well wishes. And Silver is back HOME!! She's going to get a microchip!! And a new tag.. as her tag is missing!

Silver is Missing

This time... Silver has been missing for 2 days. I was woken up on Saturday morning by my mum telling me that... little cat is missing. Early morning 8am missing??? I was wondering why, coz she was still with me the night before.

So, I quickly go and look around for the cat. Checked upstairs and downstairs... checked under the shoe racks, behind the flower pots. Where are you Silver?

I quickly printed Missing Cat notice and pasted at the lift lobbies. I still have not recovered from the flu yet. And walking around in this hot weather made me so tired and giddy.

When I was having a nap on Saturday, I even dreamt of Silver. Dreamt of Silver coming home.... But it's 2 days... she's no where to be found yet. I need a pet tracking device.

Last night... I dreamt of Silver again... and can't believe it... can cry in the dream and woken up by my own crying. Hahaha...

Everytime thought of Silver only, feel like crying liao.... Sobzzzzzz.. Waaaaaaaaaa... Silver.. Where are you? Faster come home.

Faster come home.. Anyone seen her? Her tag has got our house telephone number on it.. Please call.

Silver Update

Didn't update for a long time... as I've been lazy... hehe.. and also don't know what to update.

Let's do an update on Silver today, as I took some photos I really like. They look really 梦幻. Hahaha.. Cat also want to be 梦幻 lor.

I got new bed already.. so, after that Silver has been 霸占-ing my bed! Tekalook. :) Hehe...

Goodbye Soxy

Got the news that Soxy passed away today...... Soxy... you were still asking for food on Friday. I'm glad I spent some time with you on Friday evening and even offered you the Salmon treats..

I hope you like them...

And I hope you go to heaven too.... and be happy there.... Although you were rather irritating at times begging for food. I've always felt like offering you some food too. I didn't always do that coz I know that our food is not suitable for you....

So, next time if you come back as a cat.... remember not to eat human food again. :)

Goodbye Billo

Billo is the big orange cat in the office.... But he now no more big.... only left with a big lump and very very sick...

He's going to heaven this weekend. I want to wish him well... and tell him that I love him... Be good Billo... You've been the most obedient cat I've seen in my life. Hope we meet again.

Silver is at it again....

Silver woke me up at 5am this morning and I took some photos of her going about her 'business'. And a video there after... See if you can guess what she did.

She found it in my room, I guess....

Looks like a boy... Hehehe..

Then it was shifted to the living room. You know what is in the photo? It was still alive....

Shocking Morning

This morning when I woke up, I went straight to the bathroom not seeing anything strange. Then when I came back to my room, I saw this lump of stuff with a lot of ants!! Just beside my bed. (Hmmm... wonder why I didn't see it when I first woke up.)

At first, I thought it was a piece of chicken bone that Silver has brought into the room while I was asleep. Then I proceed to want to clean it up and realise that IT'S NO CHICKEN BONE!! (Like they say it in those Hip Hop movies. It's NO chicken bone.. Yoyoyo... Hahaha..)

It's a ... It's a..... see for yourself... But I'm sure it is Silver's job...... Then I found something suspected to be the tail of this poor lizard, outside of the bathroom. Grrrr... Silver!!! Don't bring these things into my room ok?

First, let's take a look at the innocent face of the culprit.

Arrrrghhhhh... It's really gross! You guys enjoy. I'm logging off. Urrrggghhhhh........

My Office Cats

Took some photos with & of the office cats... They are my boss and his wife's cats. Have been with them for many many many years.. Think more than 15 years old cats.

Both of them are sick and the vet says cannot cure liao. So, I decided to take more photos with them when there is a chance.

Billo - this orange cat is Billo. He has a lump on his back that is growing bigger and bigger and bigger. Recently, I feel that his face looks thinner also besides his body.... Although he still look big, but he's much thinner compared to 6 months ago.

He's a very obedient cat, eats only cat food and does not crave for human food, except for cuttlefish.

Soxy - it's the black cat in my office.. that looks like Sylvester! Hahaha.. but now not so much. It's sick too, not as energetic as before. It's sooooo thin now. And it eats a lot! But still so thin. He likes to ask for human food. Eats almost anything, from roti prata to vegetarian. As long as is food, he'll want to eat. However, never grows fat. This day, he took over my desk and just lie there. Hahaha.. his fur looks ugly.. coz he's been shaved!! Looks like an abused cat. But he's not.

Everyone treats him so nice... coz he probably is going to die soon, of old age. He's naughty... pees everywhere!! Except in his kitty litter.

Silver's First Shower

It's been 2 weeks since we adopted Silver... and she is due for a bath! The vet had told Shaun & Sam (Silver's previous owners) that they don't have to bath the cat. And the vet had used some 'chemical' bath on Silver. But somehow Silver's silver coat.. haha.. is not soft and smooth. Maybe due to the layer of 'chemical'.

So, I've bought some nice shampoo for her and bathe her.

She was meowing very loudly when I bathe her and she attempted to jump down from the basin. Hehe... but she didn't know I'm an experienced 'cat bather'. Kakaka...

After her bath, I used the super absorbant towel (suppose to be for our hair) to soak up.

I'm In Love...I'm So In Love!!

I'm so in love with Silver!! She's so sweet, so cute... so adorable, so lovely.....

She's loves me too!!! She'll come look for me every night. Last night, she slept in my bed. Hahaha... Just for awhile.

Just now she came to my room to look for me too. And lie beside me in my bed, while I was playing with my computer.

I went to buy a bottle of shampoo for her today. Want to shampoo her next weekend. The shampoo smells nice, like green apple smell. It's meant for Deshedding... hopefully after that she sheds lesser.

I'll need to get more refills for my lint remover also. Hehehe...

Ok.. let's see this not so clear video which I took on the 2nd day she moved in.

She's so attached to me already!!! Ahhh.. I'm attached to her too. Everyday thinking of seeing her only leh.

I'll try get clearer pictures and videos once she's more settled down, and come out to play in the day.

She's now at my door, when she hear me move towards the door she meows. Feel so bad for not being able to keep her company and play with her. Coz... I need to sleep!!

Silver!!!!

I'm adopting a new kitty!! It's about 2 years old...

I'm going to see it on Thursday!! Her name is Silver! So cool. And she's handicapped... Got one leg spoil le. But I'm sure it'll be a good company. Heard that it's really really cute.

See See!!! She's so GLAM lor!!

Can't wait to bring her home!!
