Bling the Samsung F480

Of course I've decided to bling my Samsung F480! It's half way done now. But I think after that it'll be too over. Kakaka... But it's ok... Let's make it toooo OVER!!

Here's some shots taken throughout the process.

This was taken after I completed the heart.

Then I decided to add another row of clear crystals and fill up the rest with rose crystals.

Colours used were Light Rose, Rose & Clear. I am planning to fill up the other panel too to make it really over. Hehehe... Partly also because I've already 'created' some scratch marks unknowingly when I handle my telephone ever so unlady-likely. Hehehe... Will think of how to fill it up later. As I still have a lot of crystals. :)

It was not done until very very perfectly, but I've satisfied with the overall results. At some part of the design, I put too much glue.

Bling Bling the PSP

Today, I'm making many many posts... hehe.. one time blog for the whole week's worth of entries. Have fun reading.

Remember I bought some crystals on Friday? Kakaka.. Nevermind if you don't. I started pasting these crystals on my PSP and my handphone.

For the PSP, I've only started with the front. I will decorate the back later when I've time and will upload the photos. See... my PSP is starting to B-L-I-N-G!
*anyone recognise this game? Hehehe..

Ok.. now.. update this post with new photo of the PSP. I've stick some more around the PSP logo too. Thinking whether I should make another round... a inner round with clear crystals.

Movie - Ip Man

*taken from Wikipedia

I went to watch Ip Man last night at GV Bishan. Got the seat at Row D, which is 4th row from the front.... it's crazy.. Quite near but not too near. There are people who got the 1st row tickets!!
I highly recommend this movie.... partly coz Donnie Yen (甄子丹) is starring in it! I simply adore him!! All his movies are so cool.... and he's simply irresistable. Kakaka.... After sooo many years, he still looks so the same and so fit. Wonder how old he is now. I remember watching his shows when I was in school!!
Ok.. back to the show. Donnie stars as Ip Man... a reknown kungfu master, who's the also the master of Bruce Lee!! Wow... and yet, we don't know the story about this man. After watching the movie, you'll feel that... wah..... this film should have been made earlier. It's not too late now too.. haha.. at least i got to watch it. And Donnie Yen is sooooo sooooo suitable for this role.
Read more here... Ip Man Synopsis.

Update on my Henna paint

Today I took another photo of the henna on my hand. This is how it looks like after the henna dry up left over stain on my skin. It's still very nice. My mum say not nice... zzzz... Sigh..

It's brownish now.. It's suppose to last for 2 weeks. Maybe I'll take another photo again when the colour starts to fade. We'll see if I remember to. :)

Friends Gathering

Today, I went out to meet with Winnie & Elaine. Elaine just got back from UK for her holidays... before going back again on New Year's Eve. Then she's going to start her new job on 5 Jan 2009. Wow... new job on her birthday.

So, while she's in Singapore, she's busy meeting up with us. We went to Pearls' Centre for vegetarian food. Tell you.... it's yummy.. ok? We were too excited eating and forgotten to take photos of the other dishes. Here's 2 that were eaten half way. Kekeke...

After that, we walk to People's Park Complex to buy winter socks with Winnie. And then, we went to People's Park Centre to buy the bling bling crystals for my phone. I bought a lot!!! Total was $59.65 including the crystal, the magic pen for picking up the small crystals one by one, and also the glue for sticking it to my phone. Hmmm.. wonder when I'll start my project. I need to think of what design to stick!!

Chinatown's new year decorations are up. But it's not that fantastic this year. Here's a sneak preview.

After we bought the crystals, we walked back to Chinatown to buy some batik cloth with Elaine, for her to bring it back to UK for her friends there. Seems like ang mohs like batik more than us. Haha... And we took a photo in the shop too!
After that, we proceed to the indian stall on Pagoda Street... where Winnie and I had some Henna painting done on our hands!! It's my first time sia... Winnie had done it before, so this time she chose a more complicated design. And I just go for something simple.
Winnie... excited to get her hands painted.
Completed!! Take a shot with the henna expert - Hema.
My turn... My turn!!

Oooooooh..... Soooooo nice!!

After that, we went for some desserts at the dessert shop nearby... yummy.. so yummy until forgotten about photos!

Oh..ya... when I reached home just now.. i decided to shift my computer table to in front of my bed... and I've the WinTV connected! Now, I can watch TV on my computer monitor. The resolution is not as good as my 29 inch TV.. but it's cool......

Who want my old TV? See below post for the photo..... any friends interested, please let me know. I'm selling it on Ebay.. but I can give it to my friends for free!!

How's Your Christmas?

My christmas is quite boring. Hahaha... Partly, because I didn't feel the X'mas 'air' around me. I don't have any colleagues, so, there was no celebrations whatsoever in the office. Work was as normal on Christmas eve. And as I work till 6pm, I didn't go to the shopping malls to feel 圣诞气氛. I came home and try to sort out the problem with my Windows Live Messenger on my new computer!! Read the forums and everyone has different kind of solutions for it. They all sound complicated.

I got Sam (my good neighbour) to come over to help me... and after figuring out till like 11pm, we found the solution!! Just by trying to upgrade the firmware for my modem. Then WLM miraculously worked. We even got the latest version of WLM.... version 2009. It looks very cool... and really nice layout. You should download it immediately.

Then, after his left.. my mum ask... is that your boyfriend? (Arrrgghhhh... Zzzzzzz!!!) I have ALAN! A-L-A-N Alan. Guess it's soon he make his 'appearance'. Wakaka...

I've also bought a TV tuner thingy for my computer. Means, I can watch TV on my com next time. Before that, I've to get rid of my TV in the room and shift the computer to that good position which is in front of my bed.. hahaha...

Here's a picture of my old TV. It's 29 inches! Am selling it for $50 on Ebay.. hope someone bids for it soon. Hahaha... Or is it too expensive?

If got friends want, I don't mind giving it away...... Let me know ok?

Merry Merry Christmas!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Here's wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! I got a very big present for myself.. haha.. I buy for myself... a Lenovo desktop. It's so cool!! Got face recognition some more for logging in. And the webcam will inform me when my eyes are too close to the screen. This makes sure that I sit properly and correct my posture all the time.

Those looking for one, should go and check it out. But from Juzz1. They are at the Liang Court Audio House.. and also at Funan Centre.

The model number is Lenovo H210. Ah.. did i mention it comes with a 22" monitor (free upgrade). Hope you can get it too.

I'm going to shift it to the front of my bed.. and put in a TV card.. and then I can use my computer to replace my TV!! Though the screen is small, but it's ok.. I'll have more space in my room.

Now..... how to get rid of the super big and bulky TV leh?

Fitflop Flip Flops

Wow... it's a spendthrift week... my bonus is almost gone. I bought a pair of Fitflop slippers on Friday. Wore it yesterday and today and.. yes.. it's really good.

A friend was telling me about it on Friday as I was searching for a pair of sandals with good support. So, I tried look for some information online. I found out that I've another friend who's wearing that same pair of shoes! Haha.. So, quickly asked her if it did help with her back aches. She said it was good and she can walk longer time without feeling pain in her back.

That very evening.. I decided to go to the shop she recommended. This shop gives a 10% discount if I pay by cash. And..... hahaha.. I bought the pair of shoes that evening. Here's a photo!! After wearing 2 days.. I realise that I don't feel knee pain, and heels pain when I'm walking, which I usually do!! This shoe suppose to help to tone up the legs and buttocks too!! Wow... wonder if I'll see any difference. But the knee and heel pains are gone now. Walking is not so stressful. I'll try to wear this pair of shoes as much as I can.

Though it's very bulky... it's very lightweight. At first, I feel uncomfortable at the top of my feet, where the strap holds the shoe tightly to the feet. After a few more days, should be ok. Overall, the bottom of the feet feels better now.

Nail Extensions!!

I went to my friend's shop yesterday to get a manicure and pedicure. And decided to go for some acrylic extensions.. just for fun, as my fingernails were cut until rather short already. It won't look nice with my own fingernails.

See this is when the fake nails has been sticked on. They are sooo long. Kakaka.. So, I faster took a shot of it. If I can scratch someone with it.... anyone wants to try?

The completed job is like this... shimmering gradiation. Quite natural and nice. One bad thing about acrylics.. they are thick!! Next time, I'll try gel extensions instead.

After that, I actually painted it the same colour as my toes. These shimmers are covered for now. They will reappear when I remove my nail polish.

Then.... my toes!! At first was one colour. Then they say my big toe very BIG. Is good for doing nail art. So, we decided to make the toes to have some Christmas spirit. The flowers are 3D! So fun. I'm not good with the camera.. the photos don't look as nice as the real one. Lucky.. I've my toes with me, I can keep looking at them. Kakakaka..

If you want to know where the shop is..... some advertising here.. it's at PINC @ Liang Court Basement 1.

More toes!!!!

Liang Court has got soooo many new shops now. The Audio House there is also very big. Now contemplating to buy the Lenovo Desktop for $999. Arggghhhh... maybe gotta go there again today as the promotion is ending today.

My Office Cats

Took some photos with & of the office cats... They are my boss and his wife's cats. Have been with them for many many many years.. Think more than 15 years old cats.

Both of them are sick and the vet says cannot cure liao. So, I decided to take more photos with them when there is a chance.

Billo - this orange cat is Billo. He has a lump on his back that is growing bigger and bigger and bigger. Recently, I feel that his face looks thinner also besides his body.... Although he still look big, but he's much thinner compared to 6 months ago.

He's a very obedient cat, eats only cat food and does not crave for human food, except for cuttlefish.

Soxy - it's the black cat in my office.. that looks like Sylvester! Hahaha.. but now not so much. It's sick too, not as energetic as before. It's sooooo thin now. And it eats a lot! But still so thin. He likes to ask for human food. Eats almost anything, from roti prata to vegetarian. As long as is food, he'll want to eat. However, never grows fat. This day, he took over my desk and just lie there. Hahaha.. his fur looks ugly.. coz he's been shaved!! Looks like an abused cat. But he's not.

Everyone treats him so nice... coz he probably is going to die soon, of old age. He's naughty... pees everywhere!! Except in his kitty litter.

Gathering!! 17 Dec 08

We had a gathering at Kuishinbo on 17 Dec 08. Lynne treated us to buffet dinner there... at the new Kuishinbo outlet in Great World City.

The GWC one is smaller than the Suntec one... but the seating is much nicer.. in a way. The 8 of us had a private partition to ourselves. It's good for group dining. You don't have to sit with everyone walking around you.

There's also a fresh sashimi counter where you can choose what you want and they cut it for you straight away.

Besides that, they also have premium items like Bamboo clams. It's not available from the buffet counters. Just order from the staff and they'll serve it to our table! We ordered 8 of those.. one for each of us. Hmmm.. I'd say.. the taste so so only.. Hehehe..

Of course we won't miss the Alaskan crabs and cold prawns.... and many other more. We were too busy eating and didn't have time to take more photos.

Silver's First Shower

It's been 2 weeks since we adopted Silver... and she is due for a bath! The vet had told Shaun & Sam (Silver's previous owners) that they don't have to bath the cat. And the vet had used some 'chemical' bath on Silver. But somehow Silver's silver coat.. haha.. is not soft and smooth. Maybe due to the layer of 'chemical'.

So, I've bought some nice shampoo for her and bathe her.

She was meowing very loudly when I bathe her and she attempted to jump down from the basin. Hehe... but she didn't know I'm an experienced 'cat bather'. Kakaka...

After her bath, I used the super absorbant towel (suppose to be for our hair) to soak up.

Just out from the shower.

Wah.. the cat took 'ecstasy' or what? 摇啊摇,摇啊摇!

Flash light make the eyes SHINE. *.*

Ok.. let's see a video of Silver! :) Now her hair so soft and smooth!! Meooow...

National Museum of Singapore

After we decided to leave the Chunk Fest, we wanted to go to Plaza Singapura. When we cross the road, we realise there's a National Museum of Singapore! We decided to go in for a lookie and enjoy some cool air. This is a giant chilli outside the Museum.

The National Museum has changed so much! There is this new extension, which we have never seen. So, like 'sua-koo', we decided to take some photos... of the architecture.

This one not architecture.. haha.. but we like the glass wall. So, we all pose with the wall. Hmm.. look quite slim here. I swear, no photoshop!! Haha..

Then on our way out, we saw that the ceiling was really nice too. Took a last shot and left the place. By this time, my Canon camera had run out of batteries. Sobz... my buffet dinner how? Can't take much photographs already. Sigh..

Chunk Fest - 6.12.08

Went to meet up with Jacelyn and Chun Cheng to go to the Chunk Fest at Fort Canning Park before my buffet session with my secondary school classmates.

It was raining before that, so, when we reached Fort Canning, it was so hot and humid. And we even saw many people with muddy feet!! So, we took some photos and headed for the National Museum opposite the road. For some AIR CON!

See.. so many people queueing up for ice cream! And had to endure the muddy ground... count me out....

Then we spotted a 'flower' lying in the air and stuck to the tree. It's made of soup bubbles. So interesting. You hope you can bring one home. But too bad.. cannot!
